Travel with The Lonely Palette

Explore the world with us…

The Lonely Palette has partnered with Celeste Travel for a series of high-end trips. We’ll explore art, culture, fine dining, and immersive adventure.

Our first trip is to Florence and Milan in April 3-11, 2027!

This journey begins with an apparently simple question: what happens when an artist stops representing the world as he has been taught to see it and starts asking how it might be represented differently?

Florence is the ideal starting point. Between the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries, painters, sculptors and architects radically transformed the relationship between humanity, space and nature.

The journey then moves to Carrara and Pietrasanta, where the story leaves museum galleries behind and returns to matter itself: marble, mountain, workshop and the intelligence of the hand.

Then comes Milan. Here Leonardo’s Renaissance experimentation becomes the starting point for a second movement. From Mantegna to Boccioni, from Fontana to Cattelan, art no longer merely represents the world. It questions it, cuts through it, challenges it and eventually asks what art itself might be.
